Actually i don't remember that much censoring in the closed beta. They definitely didn't censor the word "hello" or gay or lesbian etc. I haven't been on HOME since the open beta launched though. If you were able to stream videos in your own "HOME space" or even stream music it would much more interesting. But for now it's just there for sh*ts and giggles.
It's much closer than anyone expected that's for sure. To say either console did THAT much better than the other this year is splitting hairs.
Hopefully it is, i'd download that for sure.
It's really just a law of averages.
But god damn FIFTY games on ps3? Sh*t man, all i have is 15 and i've had it since August of last year.
I hope it's the new iterations on the Genesis HD collection pack.
Actually Thor the stealth felt pretty tame to me. Not emphasised until act 3/4. That's when i felt like old metal gear. I completely agree with the Boss Fights thing and the drebin thing. It's what i've been saying for awhile as my only little nibbles about MGS4. The boss fights didn't have that "kojima charm" to them except for the last fight (as to not spoil it) and the first fight against Laughing Octopus.
The camosuit was much more improved over the manual camo sys...
I think what the real problem that lies in Blu-Ray isn't what people think it is. It's actually manufacturing prices and the cost to use the disk by studio's. Since it's costing them more to make the disks they have to charge US more to spend on them. They can't just magically "poof" drop the price of how much they charge for the disks. If Sony and the rest of the people that makes the decisions for Blu-Ray royalty fees can lower the price of entrance fee's for all studio's small an...
I have both Prince of Persia and Mirrors Edge, two pretty good games. I'm almost done with Mirrors Edge and i have to say there's some moments in the game where you get some of the biggest adrenaline rushes in video games ever. There's no hand holding and once you get a solid grasp on the premise you can run through the level without the red or dot helping you, that's when the entire level becomes like a big playground. Not perfect execution but the better you are at the game the more fun you...
Well the wait is usually for localization (dubbing) in the different regions it's going to be released in. It's the same way with anime, it takes a few months to do all the dubbing.
LBP deserves the praise. It's my personal game of the year as well. Glad it's getting the recognition it deserves.
Mmhhmm out of all the sequels i played this year MGS4 was the best. DMC4 was a letdown so was Soul Cali 4. GTA4 actually surpassed my expectations but i was expecting GTA4 to be a mediocre game. Just san andreas with new graphics. Even though the content in the game couldn't match up to San Andreas in sheer content and scope the story and characters blew my expectations away. Honestly it was doing the mafia jobs that killed that game for me. It drained all the momentum the game drove in durin...
Not my personal game of the year even though i'm a MGS fan (i have to give my personal GOTY to LBP) but MGS4 deserves the praise.
Actually baum i agree with him on the Wardevil thing. Ever since they changed the character design of him i haven't been digging the game a whole lot. I think it's going to be a very mediocre hack and slash game. But i'll leave a little crevice of optimism.
I hope it's not just QTE throughout the entire game. But it does look alright. Cheese with spectacle isn't a bad combination as long as it's more spectacle than cheese.
Did you happen to change your password/sign in address recently? Because if so there's a bug going around that f*cks up your save game files or something like that.
Definitely agree. This brings a completely new element into making levels. I'm still designing my first level and the paintinator is something that fits PERFECTLY with it.
Yes to Brutal Legend and Bayonetta. No to Splatterhouse for me.
I'm still hoping that DE3 will SOMEHOW come out next year.
I was interested in Fracture since last E3. It looked better then. Then as time progressed, it started looking worser and worse until it fell off my radar completely.
MGS4 wasn't a stealth game like the first 3 though. I didn't like that. It felt too much like a 3rd person shooter for almost half the game (the first 2 acts). If it would have been nominated for best 3rd person shooter i wouldn't have had any qualms with that.
Pretty good list, i have half the games mentioned and i pretty much agree. You know what, my friends have been splooging over themselves about Fallout 3. I think i'll buy it next once i get tired of Mirrors Edge and Prince of Persia (both under rated games).
